After Peter had paid for the meal and Gwen had digested the food some, they got up to leave. They chatted more about Doctor Conners class along with more generally just getting to know each other better. Though she considered Peter a friend, there was still alot she didn't know about him. After grabbing her purse, sliding it over her shoulder, she smiled when Peter walked over to her and offered her his hand to help her up. "Thanks Pete" she said as she accepted his hand and slowly got up with his help. They then headed out of the resturant together. Once outside, Peter turned to Gwen and asked, "Can I walk you home?" "Of course" Gwen smiled back.

It was a pleasant walk back to her apartment. They made pleasant small talk and just enjoyed each other's company. Gwen was still feeling pretty bloated and continued to gently pat her bloated belly. This did not escape Peter's notice and he smiled to himself at the thought of this. Gwen had definitely showed him that she loved to eat and could eat which pleased him. A short time later they arrived at Gwen's apartment building. Peter walked Gwen up to the front door. "Thank you for the meal Peter. It was delicous" she said sweetly with a smile. "It was my pleasure" Peter said. He then paused for a second before adding, "Um Gwen, could I have your phone number so I can call you about studying together and maybe doing something this weekend?" Though Gwen had given him some positive signs, he couldn't help but be a little nervous when asking her for her phone number. She was so pretty and success with the ladies was never something that had been a strong suit for him.

Gwen thought that it was cute that Peter was all nervous asking for her phone number. She had grown tired of the overconfident guys and their act. There was something sweet and honest about a guy who was nervous around you. She knew those kinds of guys would be good to you and not break your heart like the overconfident guys. She had her heart broken by the overconfident guys too many times in the past and was not going to let that happen to her again. She was done with overconfident guys. "Of course" Gwen replied before giving Peter her number and smiled as she watched him quickly enter it into his phone and save it. The speed he did it in surprised her a little but but didn't think too much of it. "Call me" she said said cutely before giving him a kiss on the cheek, and heading inside her apartment building with the door closing shut behind her.
