A bright new day broke and as usual Renamon was awake well before her trainer. Renamon had been phasing around the city, keeping well out of sight, simply because she felt strangely good today. She had slept well, and woken up refreshed and ready for anything. Renamon phased into Rika's room after a brief sit in a tree down the road. Hoping that her trainer would be awake she stepped over to the bed and poked her.
"Ow Renamon if that's you, its way too early to wake up on a weekend, go see Takato or something." Rika groaned without turning over. Renamon sighed, her trainer was as lazy as usual. Renamon decided to go see Takato like Rika had suggested and phased out of the room, appearing next in Takato's room. She let out a quiet groan as she saw that Takato was not up yet either. 'Humans are so lazy' she thought as she looked around the room for Guilmon. He would have been her last choice of people to hang around with but she was getting bored being by herself. She realized suddenly that Guilmon was not here, which was not entirely unusual, Takato sometimes took him out to his hideout early so they wouldn't be spotted, she figured that must be why Takato was still asleep, and so she phased out of his room and into Guilmon's hideout. It was really nothing more than a hole in the ground, but Guilmon seemed to enjoy it. Except when Renamon arrived he was not there, though he had been before, a large hole had been dug in the wall, indicating that he had been bored and decide to dig. Becoming slightly frustrated Renamon decided to give up and Takato and Guilmon and just go back to the tree she had been sitting in. She phased out of the hideout and then found herself sitting in the tree. She sighed, pulled her knees up under her chin and closed her eyes. Not long after she had sat down she heard heavy footsteps coming down the sidewalk. At first she assumed that Rika had finaly woken up and was coming to get her, but she soon noticed that the footsteps were far too large to be a human's. She turned around to see Guilmon wandering down the street with a puzzled look on his face. Afraid that someone might see him, Renamon quickly jumped out of the tree and dropped next to him.
"Oh Renamon, there you are, I got lost trying to find your house!" Guilmon smiled childishly.
"You idiot, no one saw you did they?" Renamon smacked Guilmon on the top of his head.
"Ow, that was mean!" Guilmon whimpered.
"Oh stop whining and tell me, did anyone see you?"
"No, at least I don't think so."
"Great, so you wandered out of your hideout in broad daylight, across town, and got lost, what were you thinking?"
"I was bored." Guilmon groaned. "I needed someone to talk to, and I remembered that you were always getting up before anyone else." Renamon smacked him on the head again. "Ow stop that!!" He yelled.
"Will you be quiet, what makes you think I would want to talk to you anyway?"
"Aww don't be so mean Renamon."
"Look just go home okay, I don't want to talk to you and Rika will be getting up soon." Renamon said turning back towards Rika's house.
"Umm okay, but I don't really know which way home is." Renamon spun around and hit Guilmon in the side of the head.
"You freaking imbecile!" She grabbed him by his shoulders and shook him. "You walked all the way out here and now you can't remember how to get back!?"
"Stop hurting me Renamon!" Guilmon cried, and Renamon smacked him again. "Ow I mean it, stop!"
"Be quiet or someone will hear us!" She said shaking him again.
"I'll hurt you if you don't stop Renamon."
"Oh please what could you do to me, you don't have a mean bone in your body, now shut it while I think of a way we can get you back."
"You shouldn't be mean to me Renamon, I got taught how to deal with mean people a long time ago, especially girls." Guilmon stood up as tall as he could. Renamon simply pushed him over and continued thinking. Guilmon fell on his back and lay there for a moment letting the rage build in him. He had never been this angry with Renamon before, he felt he needed to teach her a lesson. While Renamon's back was turned, Guilmon reached between his legs and began rubbing.
