Nala awoke to find herself resting under a tree, but not one she remembered being in the enclosure. Looking around as far as she could, her surroundings confirmed that she was no longer in her enclosure, but a much larger area. For a few moments she was interested enough to try exploring, but any effort was is vain, she was so fat her paws no longer touched the ground, and in any case she could barely move her legs for their blankets of fat.

Several days passed before Nala's paws were able to reach the ground, and several weeks before she was able to walk around without her belly dragging on the ground. In that time, and with nothing else to do, she explored the enclosure. It was easily five or six times as big as her last one had been, but far less lush. In addition, the people keeping her put the food up on poles and trees rather than just feeding her hand-to-mouth, so even more time passed before she was thin enough to climb up for a decent meal.

Three months passed before Nala was finally deemed healthy enough to move.

Nala was just relaxing under a tree, having taken the third morsel of the day when she felt a sting in her shoulder. Looking down she saw a tranquilliser dart in her should, which she plucked out, but her vision quickly faded as the tranquilliser took effect. When Nala awoke she looked around to see where she was.
