It was overpowering him. It wasn't like he was in a trance. Nor was it like the food was flying down his throat as if by magic. A more accurate statement would be that it was like someone had shoved his head into the food and wouldn't let him up for air.

Nala was quite impressed at his voracious eating. Even she tended to come up for air for every mouthful but it really did look like his head couldnt move from the bowl. His eyes were actually full of fear as he seemed to realise what he was doing but couldn't stop.

She understood that though. She did want to get fat but when she originally started gorging she had that same expression when she realised how much she was eating all at once. Mabye he'll get used to it like she did. It was clear that his mind was resisting but his body was embracing the new lifestyle. You know the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

She knew he was miserable but at the same time she really wanted him to get fat like her. All that fat he had at the moment made him look really cute and if they were going to be spending their lives together in this enclosure then she at least wanted to spend her life with someone who she could be friends with.

She just had to find a way to get him to make him happy while making sure he kept gaining weight
