Epesi tried desperately to think of a way to escape, but could come up with nothing. So wrapped up was he in thinking of escape though, that he didn't notice another meal being served till Nala called him over, again having given him some of her meat.

As with the last meal, Epesi was too full to move afterwards, although he was only uncomfortably full this time rather than painfully, but he nevertheless lay down afterwards for a nap.

On waking, Epesi examined himself again, and was alarmed to find that he no longer had a waist at all, his body simply went straight back, not even tapering, which meant that as well as the added weight, his thighs were rubbing slightly against his belly.

As alarmed as he was though, he knew that he could get rid of it with exercise, so with that in mind he began to sprint around the the enclosure.
