The scent of his next meal alerted Epesi it was time to eat again. Nala quickly was about to add a few more steaks from her own dish to his, but saw that Henry had begun feeding him more. She guessed he saw his increased weight and decided to give him an equal share to her own. The pleased Nala greatly since it meant she didn't had to share her food and they'd both gain.
Epesi sorrowfully dug into his meal, only ever stopping to breath before digging in again. Nala was quite surprised at the weight he was putting on.
"Before long he'll be as big as me." thought Nala. "I bet his state of mind is making him gain more. He thinks he'll get fat if he eats so much that is what is happening. Must be the same as me, but I want to get fat. Maybe it is time for me to tell him the truth. After all what good is getting fat if you don't enjoy it, though I'm enjoying him porking up alongside me."
Nala was thinking of telling Epesi the truth after they ate. She didn't want to tell him before since he might stopping eating if she did. After he ate he let himself digest as usual before trying to walk again. He barely made a few yards before tiring and laying down. She thought of telling him now, though she may want to wait a little longer and see if he changes him mind on obesity on his own.
