"But I really am full," Nala said, "please, I have to go."

Scar considered detaining Nala forcefully, but decided against it, if he kept her too long, one of the pride would make the connection between him and her. "Okay," he said, then smiled slightly, "but remember, this is our little secret, and if anyone finds out we could both be in big trouble."

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone," Nala said, "and, um, thanks."

"Oh that's alright," Scar said, "and if you ever want that little bit extra, you know where to come."

"Sure do," Nala said, "bye."

"Farewell Nala," Scar said, then when the cub disappeared, said, "I hope to see you again soon."

As Nala bounded through the grass, her full, fatty belly swinging a little more than usually, she considered where to go now, whether to go home, or go out and search for Simba.
