"Scar," Nala called as the dark lion walked away, "Scar please," but there was no response as the male left her sight. Cold, uncomfortable and alone, the female cub pondered her situation.
For a while she'd trusted Scar, trusted him to help her, but not now, not ever. Of course, she couldn't tell anyone either, because that would just get her into trouble as well, so she'd just have to avoid him from now on.
Of course, none of this was helping her now, but then, nothing could help her now she was stuck here, unless, unless she could get rid of her recent meal. Spurred on by the thought, she turned to the corner and tried desperately to throw up, but it didn't work, her meal was a solid lump in her belly.
Nala tried to think of other ways of helping her situation, but before she came up with anything, her meal began to digest, sapping her energy and leaving her tired, which quickly took its toll, and the female cub was soon asleep.
