Nala continues to chow down on the hippo until a good cavern was forged in its side and her belly had ballooned almost to the ground. She sat back on her slightly rounder hind end and panted, her front paws draped over her taught gut and hind paws splayed out to the sides.

Scar, in spite of being surprised by her ability to put it away, coolly said, "Is that it? You've hardly touched that hippo!"

Nala panted and moaned. "I ... can't eat any more. There's too much."

"Come now," he walked over to her, "those aren't the words of the little lioness I talked to the other day! If you want to be fat, you must ... <i>eat</i>." The last word came out in a slight growl, and Nala's fear quickly returned. What on earth was he up to?

In any event, Nala returned to gulping down bite after bite of hippo meat (this was mostly fat, so this meal would leave her much larger than any of the previous) and even though she began slowing down, the tight, round mass below her steadily grew until she could no longer lift it from the ground. She mumbled and tried to walk, first dragging it, then trying to roll. The rolling just left her feeling nauseated , so scratch that.

"N-no ... no m-more ... r-r-room."

"So ... is that your final answer?"

Nala hiccuped and moaned, rubbing her gut with her paws. "Yeah. No more."
