Nala rested on the ledge for a little while, until Scar had disappeared, then examined her environment. She wasn't actually quite as full as she'd made out, and while she was still in no position to jump down from the ledge, she might be lucky enough to find another way down.

It took Nala a few minutes to find what she was looking for, a cleft in the rock that might just be good enough to slow her fall. It would still be a big fall though, and her stomach churned at the thought, but she was decided, and after a few moments of plucking up her courage, jumped.

Things didn't go exactly to plan though. Firstly, Nala misjudged her own preparedness, landing short of the spot she was after, then one of her paws slipped and she half somersaulted, landing on her back, her heavy belly knocking the wing out of her, and her general heftiness leaving her with some nasty bruises.

After recovering for a little while, Nala rolled over and struggled to her paws. She was beginning to feel drowsy as her stomach began to digest its large meal, but it would have to wait, she had to get out of here first.
