Nala considered this. The promise of food was a big lure, but there was something unnerving about Scar, and there would certainly be trouble if her mother found out, "um, not, not right now."

"As you wish," Scar said, "maybe in the morning then?"

"Ur, maybe," Nala said.

"We'll see," Scar said, "well, good-night little lady."

"Night," Nala said, making her way back to her mother's side.

Nala awoke a little late the next morning and found Simba already waiting outside. "You coming to explore," he asked.
