Kiara woke up late in the afternoon. As she rose to her feet, she noticed something was different: she felt heavier than before. Her belly had shrunk, but the food she had digested had turned into fat. Her belly was soft and sagged down a bit more than before. Her sides were wider, and her rear end, too. Overall she had gained a layer of fat.
"Uh oh, what are my parents going to say? They told me not to eat too much and now I've gained even more weight!"
"Hi Kiara, enjoy your nap?"
"Yes, thanks. Oh grandma, thanks again for the meal, it was great! ....as you can see."
"Now now, Kiara, I don't see any difference in you. Come on, let's get you back home before it gets dark."

Kiara and Sarafina walked slowly to pride rock, where Kiara was greeted by Nala.
"Hi honey, good to have you back home! How was your day?"
"Well, I had a real good time with grandma. Can I see her again tomorrow?"
"Of course you can! If it's fine with her. You must be hungry, I saved you some big chunks of a gazelle we ate earlier. You can have all you like, we're not hungry anymore."
"Wow, thanks mom!" Kiara wasn't really sure if she was hungry after all she had eaten that day, but she decided to be nice to her mother and eat up. She quickly finished the remains of the gazelle and fell asleep with a full belly.
