So she started to nibble at her "breakfast," trying to ignore the protests from her straining stomach. After a few minutes, though, her nibbles turned into bites, which gradually developed into great gulps. Oh, she was full, maybe fuller than she'd ever been, but she still wanted more. She ate until there was nothing left of the zebra but bones.
"Oh, my, you finished that quickly! Would you like something else?" Sarafina said, apparently oblivious to how massively overstuffed her granddaughter was. Before Kiara, whose reflexes were slowed by fullness, could protest, Sarafina brought out a second zebra, which smelled just as good as the first. Kiara couldn't help herself. She had to have more.
Sometime later, she woke up. She didn't remember falling asleep, but there was most of a wildebeest carcass in front of her, so she must have passed out at some point. She tried to get up, but found that she couldn't move--which was hardly surprising, given the state she'd been in when she got here and the ridiculous amounts of food she'd consumed since then.
"Grandma?" she called.
"Good morning, Kiara!" Sarafina replied from somewhere further back in the den. "You can go ahead and finish off that wildebeest." Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
