"Does this mean you're not mad at me any more?" Kiara asked.
"Well, I'm still upset with you for running away without telling anyone where you were going, young lady. You had your father and I worried sick! But if you're asking whether I'm going to try and make you diet any more, the answer is no."
"Yay! Thank you, mom!"
"You're welcome, sweetie." Nala turned back to Sarafina. "Mother, if anything like this happens again, please don't keep it a secret from me."
"Oh, I don't think that'll be a problem," the old lioness replied with a smile.
