A week had passed since Kiara had been brought into the enclosure, and it was certainlt having an effect. Kiara of course was bored out of her mind, spending almost all of her time sleeping or daydreaming, only coming back to reality when her stomach forced her to do so. Unfortunately for the female cub, her stomach had become more and more forceful as the week went on, and this combined with her lack of space had had a big effect on her body.

KIara could no longer be called chubby, or reasonably even fat, she was now officially obese. her body was almost ball shaped with her newly gained weight, or egg shaped if you chose to count in her head and neck, the second now wider than the first and beginning to develop rolls. Her legs were affected as well, their layers of padding forming rolls over her joints, and pressing against her belly, forcing her to develop a splayed posture whenever she stood up. Even her tail hadn't escaped, hanging limp down her rump, simply too heavy to lift any more.

"Look at that lazy beast Todd," the human growled, sitting in front of the monitor watching the cub in her now daydreaming phase. The camera had been well placed, seeing the whole enclosure, but apparently remaining unseen itself.

"Well what d'you expect her to do sir," Todd replied behind him, "she's got nothing to do and nowhere to go."

"What're you suggesting," the first human asked, turning away from the monitor.

"One of two things sir," Todd replied, "either we can put her in the outdoor enclosure, or we can get her a playmate."
