Shenzi looked up, trying to find the source of the noise. "Anyone there" she called after a few moments, but no-one replied. She looked around for another moment, then finally decided she'd imagined the noise, and continued to eat.

Soon, the gazelle carcass was nothing but bone fragments, Shenzi even having crushed the bones for the marrow. "Oof," she exhaled, surprised at the sudden extra weight in her belly. Now that she could finally think without her stomach, making demands, she tried to decide what to do.
