She couldn't help but gaze longingly. It was like every other thought was over ridden by the urge to eat.

Little did she realise that there was a chemical additive in the food similiar to what they put into fast food and candy that makes people want more. The differance was that this additive was many times more potent than others. Anyone who took even a sniff of this would be peckish even if they'd just eaten three christmas dinners by themselves.

So for our fattened hyena actually eating it means that she will always be hungry no matter how full she is for the rest of her life.

She waddled back over to the trough and at a more sedate pace began to dig in.

Later when she had truely had her fill she waddled back over to where she had been about to lay down for a nap. She idly noted in her food dazed state that her stomach now dragged across the ground at gave her considerable discomfert.

She yawned as she was about to let sleep claim her when her ears perked up at the familiar sound of the trough filling up again.

Her painfully tight stomach was growling in hunger already but she was about ready to collapse from exhaustion.
