Anko yawned as she burst into her home near the forest of death. It had been a looooong day. She kicked off the sandals she found a week earlier, and crashed onto her couch, where she groaned, cracking her back and muttering threats to imaginary people under her breath. Despite the working, life was good.

For Naruto, it had been a week of hell. Anko stomped, and ran, and jumped, and kicked All. Day. Long. He could not imagine Ino could get that rough unless she was in an actual fight. Not to mention training... Naruto didn't know a human could kick a tree THAT hard THAT many times. When Anko kicked Naruto off her feet, thinking of him as nothing more than a remarkably resilient set of sandals, he was more relieved than she was. It was time to rest. Not that he slept. Sandals don't really sleep, you know?

Naruto had already "stepped" into his routine. First he had been panicked, then angry, then depressed. But none of that really helped. So he waited.

Today is his lucky day....
