Naruto suddenly burst into tears. Anko's eyes widened. She didn't feel any empathy for him, she was a veteran ninja, but she was shocked to discover how much power her feet had. She admired them. They were truly fearsome weapons. This kid used to be the most proud and confident ninja around. She started patting his head with her feet. She pretended like it was to comfort him, but really, she was drying them. "There, there."

Naruto just couldn't believe his situation. He HATED feet now. He wished he had never written that stuff in the diary, and Ino wouldn't have....it was too much to think about. Mostly he cried because he knew he had nobody to tell, they would all just laugh. The dream of Hokage seemed impossible now.

Anko cooed at him. "Awww, Naruto. You know, most people break down under my feet after smelling them for less than a minute! You lasted a whole week as my sandals, and a night under my feet while they were soaking with sweat. Other guys might have lost their sanity under there. Yep, my feet are probably the most potent weapon in Kohona. She buried her toes in his hair. "You'll make a good foot boy, I'll let you get used to them slowly."

This did not make Naruto feel better.

"One time, I got a guy to puke his guts out sucking my toes when they were CLEAN! (by her standards.) I'm honestly impressed you handled it so well.
Naruto sniffled.
"Aw come on, see, my feet are even sorry. How about you kiss them and say you forgive them."
Anko put her feet under his chin and wiggled her now dry toes.

Naruto stared at them. He really hated Anko for this, but he had to keep her happy. He knelt down and kissed the tops of her putrid feet. "I forgive you."

Anko smiled brightly and crossed her ankles over his shoulder like a stool. "Good! Now, I've thought of the task. Now here's what you have to do to avoid being a sandal.....
