Hinata was exhilirated, confused, happy and sad, all at once. She had won. Naruto was unconscious, her training as a med nin was good enough for her to know that.

She sat on the ground and looked at her beaten opponent. Clearly he had not used all his power. But that was because she hadn't let him! At first, she thought this meant it was a cheap win, but no. That was what being a ninja was all about, was it not? Beating your opponent first? Naruto may be stronger, but the fact that she was able to so easily disable him before he could use it........made her the better ninja.

She was a better ninja than Naruto.

Had she overestimated him, or underestimated herself? Who knew, perhaps both.

She remembered Naruto was still unconscious, and went to him. She reopened his chakra pathways, and Naruto regained consciousness.

Naruto sat up bleary eyed. "What happened?" He murmured. Of course, he knew very well.
Hinata answered "Naruto, I....knocked you unconscious."

Naruto had a look of shock on his face. Hinata stood up to get him bandages. She was stopped by Naruto falling at her feet pathetically, kissing them.

"Naruto!" She shouted, still embarrassed by the sight.
"Please Hinata-sama, forgive me for losing so easily! I promise I will put up a better fight next time!"

Hinata hurriedly said "Naruto, it's fine, you did well. You don't have to kiss my feet."

Naruto ceased, according to his master's wish.

Then they left for the spa, to wash up after the training. Naruto again carrying Hinata's gear, Hinata's mind swirling with her stunning victory.
