Sakura took a deep breath and walked inside. Naruto was didn't say a word as he looked at her with a weird look on his face. He looked as if he didn't know what to say, or what to do. He was just confused over the entire situation.

"Get over here and lick my feet dog." Sakura commanded. Naruto scurried to obey and within seconds, he was kneeling in front of Sakura licking the tops of her feet. She just stared down at Naruto as he licked her feet. After minutes of awkward silence, Naruto paused in his licking and looked up at Sakura.

"Listen Sakura-chan... I know that you don't actually want to marry me. So don't worry, I'll think of something so you don't have to."

Sakura's eyes widened. He had what he always wanted within his grasp and he was willing to give it up for her?

"You're not going on that mission." Sakura said. That was the only reason she could think of he would do this.

"I know and I don't plan on it."

"You're never going to escape me. I'm going to keep you as my dog forever."

"I know."

Sakura was shocked... The level of devotion Naruto had for her was unreal. His devotion was perfect for a dog.

"Whatever. We're getting married anyways. Tsunade-sama is making us. We could start an international war if we didn't know."

"I'm sorry." Naruto apologized as he looked away from Sakura. "Do you want me to buy you a ring then?"

"Whatever. I don't care." Sakura sighed.

"You're going to... you're going to fuck other people aren't you?" Naruto suddenly noted with a horrified look on his face.

"Me? Nope. It looks like I'm going to die a virgin." Sakura sighed. "You'll be my husband, I can't be unfaithful to my husband."

"I..."

"Shut up Naruto." Sakura cut off her dog. "Get back to licking my feet."

"Before I do that... are you sure you're ok from work?" Naruto asked with a concerned look on his face. Even though she had betrayed him a second time, he still loved her. And now she was his fiance... It was now his duty to make sure she was ok.

"I'm fine."

"Sakura-chan..."

"I'm fine."

"Sakura!"

"I will hurt you if you don't drop it dog." Sakura threatened.

"I don't care! I need to make sure you're ok!"

Sakura's eyes softened as she looked down at her dog. Instead of answering, she lifted her right foot and pinned Naruto's face beneath it.

"Sniff." She commanded.

Naruto obeyed and started sniffing her feet, just like he had been earlier... and just like he would be doing for the rest of their lives.

"I'm not ok right now." Sakura sighed as her dog sniffed her feet. "But I've got my dog to use, and this is my profession. I'll get over this and I'll be fine. There's just no quick fix for this kind of thing. It just takes a little time."

"You know..." Naruto said in between sniffs of her smelly foot. "I know it hurts to lose your patients... but the fact that you're taking this so hard should comfort you. If you weren't taking this so hard, it means you would be used to it, which would mean you would be losing more people. The fact that you're taking this so hard is a testament to all the lives you've saved."

Sakura's expression visibly softened at her dogs words. She had never looked at it like that.

"I...yeah. Thanks." Sakura finally said. It felt weird to thank her dog, but she did appreciate his words. And his words did make her feel better. She stood like that for another ten minutes just staring down at Naruto as he sniffed her foot.

Finally, she broke the silence. "Alright dog, let's go to bed. It's been a long day and night. And don't forget to crawl." Sakura walked into Naruto's bedroom followed closely by her dog who was on all fours.

She was too tired to bother getting ready for bed tonight, and she didn't have any clothes here in Naruto's apartment. She crawled into bed even though she was completely clothed. She noticed Naruto start to lay on the floor and sighed.

"You can sleep under the covers at my feet Naruto."

Naruto nodded and quickly got into the bed. Sakura planted her feet in his face the second he was in, closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
