"Well if isn't the new happy couple." A familiar voice called as Sakura and Naruto neared the pet store. Sakura turned to her side and glared at the owner of the voice.

"Shut it Shizune."

"Ooh someone's grumpy!" Shizune teased. "Hmm, so you're really making Naruto be your slave eh? Tsunade-sama told me about it, but I didn't actually believe it."

"I'm not making Naruto be my slave, he is my slave. My worthless little doggy slave." Sakura corrected.

"I see..." Shizune mumbled as she took a look at Naruto. She noted that Naruto certainly did not look like he was enjoying himself, and Sakura just looked annoyed in general.

"Are you sure this is the best idea?" Shizune asked. "Neither of you seem happy with this arrangement."

Sakura rolled her eyes. She appreciated that Shizune was looking out for her, but she really didn't feel like explaining herself right now.

"Yes this is the best idea. Naruto was born to live beneath my feet. Now he will be beneath them for our entire lives."

"Oh Sakura..." Shizune sighed. "Then why do you look annoyed then? If you are happy with this arrangement then you would be smiling right now.

"Because I have to get married to this worthless dog!" Sakura groaned. "How can I be happy married to Naruto for the rest of my life?"

Naruto's head dropped. He couldn't understand Sakura. After everything he had done for her, she was treating him lower than dirt... But now she went and agreed to marry him even though she doesn't want to? Even though she'll always be unhappy married to him? Why the hell did she agree to it in the first place then?

Shizune noticed Naruto's drooped head and frowned at Sakura. "A lot of girls consider Naruto the most eligible bachelor in Konoha Sakura. You shouldn't be so negative." Shizune's eyes landed on Naruto's drooped head, and Sakura's eyes followed.

Strangely enough, Sakura found that she actually felt slightly bad for saying that directly in front of Naruto. "I guess." She mumbled as she started rubbing the back of his head.

"I hope you fully think this through before you two commit to this." Shizune said. "But that's the last I'm going to nag you for now. Care to show my feet a little love Naruto?"

"Go kiss Shizune's toes dog." Sakura commanded. Naruto crawled over to Shizune and kissed each of her toes.

Shizune grinned up at Sakura. "I can see why you're doing this, it is fun to have a man at your feet. Alright, I'm off. Have fun you two."

Sakura noticed that Naruto was averting his eyes from her as he crawled back to her side. She shouldn't be bothered by it as long as he continued to obey her... but for some reason, his refusal to look at her bothered Sakura.

"Why aren't you looking at me slave?" Sakura asked with a stern expression on her face.

"I don't know what you're talking about Mistress." Naruto lied, which only earned him a kick in the stomach.

"Don't you dare lie to me you stupid dog!"

"I don't know why the hell you decided to do all of this!" Naruto snapped. "If you will never be happy being married to me, then why the fuck are you marrying me? Why the fuck would you agree to a life that you'll never be happy in?"

To say Sakura was surprised was an understatement. She didn't expect for Naruto to actually snap at her. She was angry that he was snapping at her like that, but now she was facing a dilemma. She could beat him back into the docile state he was in before... But that would make more of a scene than she wanted to make right now. So she was left with her other option of trying to actually get to the source of the problem and fix it.

It might have been going a little far saying she could never be happy being married to Naruto. Once she married Naruto, she was guaranteed to have a foot slave after all. She certainly loved having a foot slave...

"I was annoyed." Sakura sighed. "Just forget I said that."

"Oh so when you're annoyed you suddenly start lying about always living an unhappy life?" Naruto snapped again. Sakura could see a little bit of the anger he displayed last night before she re-domesticated him boiling beneath surface.

"Watch your tone dog." Sakura warned. "If you keep snapping at me I'm going to seriously hurt you."

Sakura watched as Naruto clenched his fist. It looked like this wave of anger wasn't going to be going away easily. To her surprise, Naruto took a deep breath and calmed himself down.

"I just don't understand you Sakura. I don't understand why you would agree to this if you're going to be unhappy as a result. Do you hate me so much that you're willing to be unhappy your entire life just so you can keep me pinned beneath your feet?"

"I said forget the whole unhappy thing ok?" Sakura sighed. "I don't hate you Naruto, I'm just better than you. You are my worthless little dog. I'll be happy to have full ownership over you, and this will definitely be worth it to keep you here in Konoha where I can put you in your place instead of losing you to some slutty priestess in some random country."

Being called a worthless dog didn't really make Naruto feel much better... But Sakura did say that she didn't hate him...

"Are you sure this is what you want Sakura? Tsunade isn't going to let you out of this. If you're unsure..."

"I don't need to be questioned by some inferior little doggy Naruto. So shut the hell up. I'm retracting your right to speak until further notice. You will only speak on my command until I say otherwise. And what did I tell you about using my name? You are to refer to me as 'Mistress.' I'm going to give you a pass this time, but trust me when I say you don't want to find out what I'll do to you if you repeat your mistake."

Sakura could see that Naruto wanted to say something, but was pleased when her dog followed her command. "Good boy. Now let's go get you a collar shall we?"
