"I warned you about trusting my daughter, but you didn't listen did you?"

"No..." Naruto sighed. She was just so... hurt last night that I couldn't not do whatever I had to to cheer her up."

"Well tough. She has once again proven how she feels about you. I would love to be able to call you my son-in-law, but my daughter has proven once again that she doesn't deserve you."

On the other side of the door Sakura clenched her fist angrily. She had crept up after her mom because she didn't trust her. As if she didn't deserve Naruto... The thought was ridiculous! He was lucky she had even allowed him to be her slave!

"You're wrong Haruno-san. Sakura is an amazing woman. She deserves to have her every wish and desire filled." Naruto quietly replied.

"When she's acting the way she has been lately she doesn't! But that doesn't matter right now. What matters is you Naruto. You need to think about yourself for once. Tell me, will you ever be happy as my daughter's dog?"

"No..." Naruto whispered. "But it doesn't matter."

"What are you planning on doing when she finds someone she falls in love with? She'll be angry at you for keeping her chained in your marriage... she could kill you!"

"I don't plan on keeping her chained to our marriage. I'm going to make our marriage...open. So she will be free to do whatever she wants."

"WHAT?! Not even you could survive that kind of mental pain. You would die!"

"I know..." Naruto replied. "But that's fine. I'm ready to die now. I will never be Hokage, I will never have Sakura's love and I will only ever be hated by Sakura..."

On the other side of the door, Sakura's mouth was hanging open in shock. She knew Naruto was devoted to her, but this.... this was taking devotion to a whole new level. She knew he had always been prepared to give his life for hers should she be in danger, but from the sounds of it, he was willing to give his life up whenever the hell she wanted!

"That's bullshit!" Kaori angrily yelled. You've done too much to live such a miserable life. I'm freeing you Naruto, and this time I will make sure my daughter can't hurt you ever again."

Sakura clenched her other fist in anger. She knew her mom would try to do something! She debated rushing in and yelling right now, but decided to wait. With how powerfully Naruto was speaking of her, it would be a little more difficult to treat him the way he deserved to be treated. She would wait for him to go along with her mother's plan then beat the crap out of him.

"If I'm free from Sakura, then I have to go to Demon Country, and I don't want to leave Konoha."

"Don't worry. My plan will keep you here too." Kaori smiled. "Before Sakura's father died, he registered the Haruno clan with Konoha, which makes me the official head of the Haruno clan. As clan head, all marriages involving members of my family must receive my formal acceptance. I will deny that acceptance so you don't have to marry Sakura. Then I'll legally induct you to the Haruno clan, and use my power as a clan head to put a restraining order against Sakura for you."

"I would still have to go to demon country." Naruto pointed out.

"You wouldn't, because I would refuse to give formal acceptance for that marriage as well." Kaori smiled. "Now you're going to need to tell the authorities when Sakura tries to violate the restraining order. Ok?"

Kaori waited for Naruto to reply, but he just sat there silently with a blank look on his face.

"Naruto?"
