"Well ah... Nice talking with you two." Ino said nervously. "Enjoy your date, are we still on for lunch tomorrow Sakura?"

Sakura smirked. "Of course, now shoo Pig! I didn't get dressed up to threaten you!"

"Right, have a good night." Ino hastily retreated. She had never considered the terror that could potentially result of a girl with Sakura's temper having control over Naruto's power.

With Ino out of sight Sakura looked at a slightly surprised Naruto and looped her arm with his.

"Sorry about that, let's hurry. I'm hungry."

As Sakura led the way, Naruto couldn't stop looking at her. She got so...angry. Sakura actually defended him.

"Sakura... thanks." Naruto said as a small smile crept up on his face. "Thanks for defending me."

"You're welcome." Sakura turned her head and smiled at Naruto. "Besides, it was no big deal. Ino should've known better than to mess with me tonight, it's not like I get to go on very many dates. I'm a very lucky girl today!" Sakura joked.

Now Naruto was extremely happy he didn't leave the village. Sakura actually referred to herself as lucky for being on a date with him.

As the entered the restaurant, Sakura noticed for the first time that all the women were checking him out. Had they always done that? She instinctively tightened the loop between her and Naruto's arms.

"Table for two please." Sakura said as they reached the host.

"Ok, just so you know the wait is currently 4 hours."

"4 hours?" Sakura groaned.

"It's alright Sakura-chan, we can go somewhere else." Naruto soothed with a bright smile. The host gasped in surprise.

"You're Naruto Uzumaki! Hero of Konoha and savior of the world!"

Naruto scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Actually I just go by Naruto..."

"Right this way Naruto-sama, we have a table that just opened up!" The host quickly said to Sakura's surprise. Had Naruto always been so highly regarded?

"Wow..." Sakura said as they sat down at a private table raised so it can overlook the entire restaurant. "It looks like I have yet another thing to the list of perks of owning you."

Naruto chuckled. "It's kind of embarrassing really. I don't even want to think about how many people I don't know, know exactly who I am..."

Sakura smiled and plopped her feet onto Naruto's lap.

"Well I have a good way to keep you from thinking about it!"
