Sakura's vision was blurred so she couldn't really see where she was going, and wasn't sure what exactly she bumped into, nor did she care. She just wanted to get home.

"Sakura..." A concerned voice called. She looked up into the gentle sapphire eyes of her slave. "Wait here. I need to talk with Tsunade." Naruto said quietly.

Sakura thought about telling him he didn't get to tell her what to do, but when she saw the expression set on his face, she knew there was no point. Slave or not, when Naruto got that determined expression on his face, absolutely nothing would stop him from accomplishing what he wanted to do.

Naruto opened the door to the Hokage's office and quickly shut it and put a seal of his own on it to prevent Sakura from hearing what he was going to say.

"Sakura I already told you..."

"I'm not Sakura Baa-Chan." Naruto replied coldly. "You might want to update the sound dampening seal you have in place for this office, any seal master can easily get around it and listen in on a conversation you don't want them listening in on."

"So...you heard me yelling at Sakura eh?" Tsunade asked.

"I also heard you disown her."

"I don't want to be associated with someone like her Naruto. You and I both know that what she did was way over the line. She ruined you."

"I'm not going to lie... I'm not sure if my heart will ever recover from her betrayal today. I would rather re-live every painful birthday where I was beaten within an inch of my life during my childhood than ever live through today again..."

Tsunade gripped her desk so tightly that her fingers snapped clean through the wood.

"But you can't be angry at her. I pushed her to this..."

"YOU PUSHED HER TO THIS?!" Tsunade yelled. "HOW THE HELL DID YOU PUSH HER TO THIS?"

"I don't know." Naruto admitted. "But I know Sakura, she's not a bad person. I must've..."

"You always put all the blame on your shoulders Naruto." Tsunde sighed. "Even though it rarely ever should fall on them."

Naruto grinned. "I was born to be a scapegoat. With the Kyubi sealed in me, I accepted the villagers hatred for the Kyubi, I accepted the blame and punishment for the demon's sins."

"That's stupid!"

"And...there's something very important that you're overlooking Baa-chan. As the container of a demon, I'm not meant to be happy. I exist to absorb pain and suffering so others don't have to. I'm not supposed to be happy, and there was never going to be a happily ever after for me."

"But..."

"But at least this way I get to be with Sakura while I walk my miserable path. Sure not in the way I would choose if I could, but I'd spend a lot of time with her as her slave than not spend time with her at all. If I'm going to be unhappy for the rest of my life, I can at least help to make sure Sakura is happy."

"Tsunade, don't disown Sakura. I love her, I love her with all of my heart and all of my soul. You disowning her will hurt very badly. You trained her, you're the one who gave her the confidence not to feel like she was a burden. Without your presence in her life she would get scared, she would get sad...I can't let that happen."

"God you're a pain in the ass Naruto." Tsunade sighed. "Fine, I won't disown her. But I'm still too pissed at her to talk to her right now. I'll send a message when I think I can talk to her without beating the shit out of her.

"Fair enough. See you Baa-chan."

"Goodbye brat..."

"THIS IS RIDICULOUS!" Tsunade bellowed.
