Naruto slowly came to and was aware that his head was resting on something extremely soft. Mmm, so far I like heaven. Naruto tiredly thought to himself. He felt a... hand? A hand in his hair, and his body was still aching. That's weird... I didn't think there would be any pain in heaven... Naruto mused as he slowly opened his eyes.

His eyes widened in horror when he realized where he was. His head was resting on Sakura's lap, and her hand was in his hair. No...NO. DAMNIT! How the hell did she get here?! Naruto cursed. He had come so close...She obviously her hand in his hair so she would feel if he tried to move. She just wanted to make sure she woke up if he tried anything again so she didn't lose her personal slave to torture.

I can't deal with this... Naruto thought. He just couldn't. It was too much. His eyes landed on the kunai that he had used to try and kill himself with. It was coated with his blood, and it was closed. He reached out for it, but it was just out of his reach. He couldn't get it without moving and alerting Sakura. Fuck... Naruto cursed. He looked up at Sakura's sleeping face and even now, even though he was cursing her for keeping him alive, Naruto couldn't help but admire her beauty.

She really was the most beautiful thing to ever grace the earth... But that same beautiful face was destroying his very soul. There was no way he could last. Guess it's going to be a race then... Naruto thought. He knew the second he leapt for that kunai Sakura would awaken. He would have to be quick about it. Screw symbolism, this time he needed the efficient end.

Not even Sakura would be able to keep him alive after he slit his throat. Naruto tensed his muscles and with the skills of an elite ninja sprang from Sakura's lap and grabbed the kunai. As he predicted, Sakura instantly awakened from the sudden movement. Her eyes landed on him as he placed the kunai to his throat.

"NARUTO NO DON'T!" Sakura screamed in an absolutely horrified voice. Her yell managed to make Naruto freeze. She sounded genuinely scared... He looked at her face carefully and couldn't believe what he saw. Sakura was completely terrified.

"You still have Hinata." Naruto choked out. "I'm sure you can trick another guy into becoming a slave. You don't need me."

Tears started falling from Sakura's eyes. "Naruto... you don't understand. Please put the kunai down, please..." Sakura pleaded.

"I can't do this Sakura. I just can't. It's not your fault that you don't care about me, but it's just too much for me to handle. I'm sorry, but I have to do this."

Naruto's eyes nearly bulged out of his skull as Sakura did something he thought he would never see her do. The extremely prideful Sakura Haruno, the woman that owned him, got down on her knees and clasped her hands together.

"Please Naruto, please don't do this. I can't lose you. Please..." Sakura was sobbing now.

This doesn't make any sense... A bewildered Naruto thought as he stared at Sakura. She doesn't give a damn about me...
