Naruto was running out of the village. Truthfully, he was kind of thankful for this mission. He wanted Sakura to be his girlfriend, but he really wasn't looking forward to having to obey everything any woman said.

He was definitely going to take his time on this mission. One of the many things Naruto learned from Jiraiya that spy work is one of the most unpredictable fields out there. You can infiltrate an area and snoop around for weeks and not dig up anything on one mission, and then the next mission the information you're searching for just falls in your lap.

Naruto was definitely going to make sure that this mission was the former...except he would find the information he's looking for.
