Naruto turned around and offered Sakura a smile. "Hey Sakura-chan."

"Where are you going? You look like you're leaving the village?"

"Yea, sorry, but there's a mission that requires the skills I picked up while wandering the world with Jiraiya."

"A mission?"

"Yea, I don't know how many details I can give, but it's in fire country and it requires a spymaster."

"You're a spymaster?" Sakura asked with an eyebrow quirked. Naruto was many things- strong, loud, idiotic, determined... but she didn't think of stealth when she thought of the orange-loving Naruto Uzumaki.

"Hehe, it's not something I advertise. Pervy Sage always told me one of my biggest advantages was how much people underestimate me. So I play to people's misconceptions of me."

Sakura blinked in surprise. She didn't even realize Naruto knew what "misconceptions" meant.

"How long are you going to be gone?"

"I don't know." Naruto admitted. "I did a lot of spy missions with Jiraiya like this one, and they're really unpredictable. Sometimes they go quickly, other times they drag on."

"Give me an estimate." Sakura ordered. Naruto knew by his agreement, that he had to obey.

"Could take as short as a day, or it could take me months to complete. Like I said, these kind of missions are very unpredictable Sakura-chan."

Sakura frowned. Naruto could potentially be out of the village during the entire week of their deal? And with this intelligence Naruto was suddenly displaying, Sakura wasn't too confident that if she just tried to extend the deal that Naruto wouldn't catch on and figure out that something was up.
