Naruto stood in front of Hinata patiently, while she looked anywhere but towards him. She had sent a clone of her to Hiashi to tell him everything. She still couldn't believe Naruto wanted to be HER servant! It was like one of her dreams, but she couldn't imagine being him serving her!

Naruto piped up. "Hinata-sama?"
"Y-yes, Naruto?"
"Do you have any orders for me?"
"Ummm." She knew she had to think of some eventually.
"Could you get me a glass of water, please?" Even saying it so politely made her blush madly.

Naruto straightened. "Right away, Hinata-sama."
He rushed off to the kitchen, and returned swiftly with a tall glass of water. "Here is your water, Hinata-sama." He bowed.

She took it graciously, and blushed yet again. "Thank you Naruto." She smiled, showing as much confidence as she could.

Hiashi strode into the room. He could not believe what he had been told. That Kyuubi brat, actually wanted to be a servant in the Hyuuga household? Too good to be true.

He went straight to Naruto. "Is it true what I have been told? That you desire to be my daughter's servant?
"Yes, Hiashi-sama." Hiashi grinned inwardly, keeping a stony face. It was true. This would be great for the family, and Hinata. He knew about her crush on him, and maybe seeing him act servile would make her realize how inferior he was.

Hiashi began giving him a speech. "Alright, then. The first thing you must realize it that you must now protect Hinata, even at the cost of your own life. I will tell Tsunade about all this so she makes the proper changes to the teams."

Naruto winced, but hid it. So now Baa-chan would know. Great.

Hiashi continued. "Furthermore, you are to follow every order given to you. You will perform all the menial tasks to care for Hinata so she can busy herself with more important things. Hyuuga servants get up at 3:00 A.M. You will do her laundry, cook her food, clean her room, and most of all, follow all orders without question. You will also follow the orders of all Hyuuga clan members, even the other servants, as you are worth much less then them. Now, do you still wish to be my daughter's servant?

Hinata was near hysterical, thinking that Naruto would never do all that. He was too proud.


Naruto bowed his head, and brought it all home. "Yes, Hiashi-sama. It would be my honor to serve Hinata-sama."

Hiashi smirked. Time for some amusement. "Good! Now Naruto, I want you to kiss my feet in thanks for this opportunity."

Naruto stared down at the Hyuuga leader's feet. They were clearly a male's feet. Somehow, that made it worse. Still, he knew what he must do.
Naruto got on his hands and knees, and repeatedly kissed the feet of the gloating shinobi. Hinata looked on in absolute shock.

Hiashi pushed him away. "Now I think you should thank Hinata in the same way. Go now."

This was the most unreal moment Hinata ever experienced. Naruto crawled over to her, and looked up at her with big, thankful, submissive eyes. "Thank you, Hinata-sama." He then lowered his head and planted a kiss on the top of each sandal.

Hinata was immobile, and Hiashi was satisfied. "Alright, now Hinata must go to bed. I'll modify a closet for you to sleep in, a fitting spot.

Hinata rushed to her room and slammed the door. As she lay awake, thoughts buzzing, she did not see Naruto the same way. She still had feelings for him, but when she saw him kiss her father's feet, and then hers, she knew he would actually be a servant. She did not see the confidence she thought he had. Maybe, she pondered, I have been wrong about him
