As luck would have it, a fight between Anko and Kurenai didn't break out. Shizune and Tsunade where quick to pull the angry Kunoichis apart. Even drunk Tsunade still was a force to be reckoned with and both senseis backed off pretty fast.
Naruto thought he been spared from the worst possible torture but Ino still smiled down at him.
"Naruto I have a confession to make" Ino told him laughing "I already had the worst possible option in mind for you. I was just having fun working up to it. I know which group of feet you don't want to be under."
Naruto had a feeling he knew which pair of ninjas Ino was talking about. There were only two ninjas left but he didn't think that Ino would dare chose either of them. His worst fears were confirmed when Ino turned him to face the ninjas from the sound village.
"It's true that all my earlier choices were unpleasant but there is nothing more humiliating than serving as insoles for your enemy's feet." Ino told him. "I'm definitely going to chose to put you under Tayuya or Kin."
Naruto wanted to beg Ino to stop but all he could do was watch as Ino approached the sound ninjas.
"Hey girls" Ino said. "Are you enjoying the party so far?"
They nodded.
"I'll say one thing about you leaf ninjas" Tayuya said "You guys really know how to party."
Kin shook her head in agreement "I almost feel bad about having to destroy your village."
"heh...heh" Ino laughed nervously deciding to take their comments as a joke "It must a long journey to come here."
"Oh yes" Kin told her. "Walking here really takes a toll on my feet."
"Mine too" Tayuya agrees. "It a good thing we rented separate rooms. I don't think you want to be around when I take off my boots. My feet will smell awful. Added to that they are really dirty from being inside my boots all day."
"I'm sure yours aren't in as bad shape as mine" Kin tells her. "Mine are all sore and sweaty. It's like an ocean inside my sandals"
Ino smiled that was just what she wanted to hear and the exact opposite of what Naruto wanted to hear.
"I might be able to help with that" she tells them. "I have these special custom insoles that work miracles on my feet."
Ino takes off her sandals to show how smooth and clean her feet are. Something that she should really be thanking Naruto for.
Both girls are impressed at what good condition Ino's feet are in. They look at her enviously. Ino shows her insoles to them
"They do look comfortable" Kin said jealously.
"I wish I had a pair" Tayuya complained.
"Well actually you can take mine" Ino told them. "It's too bad I only have one pair so I'm gonna have to pick between you two."
Both sound ninjas looked up hopefully, they each desperately wanted the extra support for their feet.
