Still pretty sore from being used as a punching bag for an unknowing Kurenai, Naruto was really happy when he saw the gym doors open before morning.
*Phew* Ino really did keep her promise to get me out of here, Naruto thought. Thank god cause I don’t think I could have taken another round of being a kunoichi’s punching bag.

Suddenly the lights came on and Naruto realized it wasn’t Ino but Kurenai who was in the gym.

“There you are!” Kurenai said looking directly at him. “I can’t believe you took so much physical punishment before and there isn’t a scratch on you.”

Uh-oh…can Kurenai-sensei see me? Naruto wondered.

“I wonder what material you’re made out of. I’ve never had a punching bag that could withstand my workout routine so well before.” Kurenai said.

No…Ino’s illusion is still working, Naruto concluded. Kurenai is talking to me like I’m an object. She’s just voicing her thoughts aloud. If I just stay quiet...maybe she’ll leave.

“It was perfect timing that I discovered how strong you are,” Kurenai announced giving the bag (actually Naruto’s shoulder) a pat. “I needed a new punching bag after I completely destroyed my old one practicing my Taijitsu kicks this morning.”

Not good!! Naruto thought. I don’t like where this is going.

“I think I’ll take you home with me!” Kurenai announced. “I’ll enjoy slowly destroying you with my feet.”

Help!!!! Naruto thought wanting to scream. I don’t want be my Sensei’s kickbag!!!

Kurenai picked him up.
“Wow you’re really heavy!!” Kurenai noted. “No wonder you’re so tough. Still…I’d be very surprised if you lasted more than a few days.”

The Jounin ninja put Naruto over her back and carried him home with her. Naruto shivered in terror the entire walk.
