As this story was not originally mine but given to me to work with, I will allow crossovers from ANY video game of your choosing. In this story, reality is slowly changing with your world being replaced with the worlds of video games.
The only rule that remains is that John is still restricted to Sonic game characters only, sorry. However, his friends, loved ones, and even enemies can change into any other video game character.
