Ty Lee knew she was up next. Knowing what the smell of her own feet were like imagined the torture Naruto would go through smelling them up close and took pity on the poor ninja.
“Just tell Azula what she wants to know and we can put an end to this.” The circus girl told him assuming her natural role of good cop.

Naruto considered. For the briefest second he wondered if it would satisfy Azula if he told her about his techniques and village. Maybe then she would let him go. As soon as the thought hit him, he admonished himself for having it. A ninja’s techniques were not meant to be shared with anyone and his comrades depended on him to keep the location of his village a secret. Sorry Mai, Naruto thought, but giving away those secrets now would be like giving away my honor. He definitely didn’t want to endure anymore foot smelling but his pride was on the line. His firebender captor thought she could use foot odor to beat him and he was determined to prove her wrong. That was his way of the ninja!!

“You can all go to hell cause I’m not talking!! I don’t betray my comrades” He told them. For a second everyone (even Azula) was stunned speechless at the intensity of his outburst.
Stopping herself from feeling admiration for her captive, Azula broke into a cruel smile. “We’ll see how long that sentiment lasts.” She said coldly. “Ty Lee you’re up!!”
