“Ugh” Naruto groans as he wakes up. His lungs burn and his head is dizzy from having to breathe in a large amount of foot odor. Worse he can still taste Azula’s footsweat on his tongue. He looks around to find himself in a small metal cage. Through the cage he can see a bed in front of him that seems fit for a queen. Don’t tell me that psycho chick took me home with her he thought. Suddenly he realizes his hands are untied. Bitch made her first mistake he thought. He gathers his chakra and uses a rasengan on the cage. Surprisingly nothing happened.

“That won’t work.”

Naruto hears a familiar laugh that causes his face to turn paler than Orochimaru.
He feels a tugging on his neck. Someone has attached a leash and collar onto him while he was asleep and he had a pretty good idea who it was. He turns around to see the pair of boots that he had gotten to know a little too well during his last few hours of torture. His worst fears confirmed, Naruto looks up at Azula’s smiling face.

“That cage is built to withstand attack from even the most powerful airbenders” She tells him grinning.

“I’m not an airbender.” Naruto whines. “I don’t even know what that is.”

“Whatever,” Azula says. “I’m having too much fun torturing you to stop even if you did confess everything now.”

Naruto shuddered. The more he become familiar with Azula’s tortures, the less he looked forward to seeing how she could top herself torturing him.

Azula bent down by Naruto’s cage an amused smile on her face.
“You have no idea how bored I was until you woke up. That was very inconsiderate of you passing out on me like that.” She lectured him clicking her tongue. “But at least it gave me the time to think up new ways of making your life miserable. Do you want to hear what I came up with?”

“If I say no would it make a difference,” Naruto said dryly.

Azula briefly wondered if Naruto was related to the boomerang kid that traveled with the Avatar before ignoring his snide remark and continuing.

“You know growing up I had all the material objects I ever wanted. But traveling around a lot, I never really got to have a pet” Azula told him tugging on his leash.
Naruto could see where this was going. He already had a collar around his neck. No way he thought…she wouldn’t. Then again he realized...she was evil.

“I always wanted a puppy” Azula continued to talk in a classic rant that all villains are inherently gifted with. “Something that would look up at me with devotion and loyally lick my feet no matter what I did to it. Unfortunately even when I was allowed to have one, the thing would always be afraid of me.”

Gee I wonder why Naruto thought. You’re so charming in person.

“I mean you light the thing’s tail on fire and suddenly it doesn’t want to be around you.” She said acting hurt.

That comment gave Naruto a vivid description of what being Azula’s pet would be like and he began to pull at his collar in a useless attempt to get it off.

“Fortunately you came along.” Azula informed him “After you passed out from our little torture session, I decided you’d make a great pet for my feet. I’ll take care of you and you’ll be devoted to me for it. We’ll play games. I’ll teach you tricks. Of course I’m still gonna torture you but you’ll learn to deal with it…well eventually anyway. It will be perfect”
She grinned as she thought how humiliating this idea was for him.

Naruto didn’t want to be anybody’s pet but the idea of belonging to this woman particularly frightened him. He doubted she was as compassionate an owner as Kakashi or Kiba.

“I’m not going to be your pet” he said adamantly.

“It’s so cute that you think you have a choice.” Azula laughed. She was going to enjoy humiliating him.
