Roku said. He and a blonde man with ridiculously spiky hair, a Jonin uniform and a white coat with red flame-like patterns on it had been watching Azula and Naruto from the spirit world.
"Heh, I'm not surprised in the least, he has that effect on people, let him under your skin, and sooner or later, he'll win your heart."
"Minato Namikaze...do you regret your choice?"
Minato laughed
"Roku...my only regret is not being able to be there for him physicaly. I'm proud of him though."
Suddenly Sozin burst in, mad a hell, Roku and Minato got ready for the worst, but Sozin didn't attack them, rather he looked at the scene of Azula enjoying herself without making others suffer and his outrage grew.
"AAAGGGHHH!!! That wreched boy! I sent him there so the demon would kill the Avatar, instead, he's caused this blasphemous change in Azula!!!! I'll have to correct that mistake myself!"
With that, Sozin forced himself into the living world, Minato tried to fallow but Roku held him back.
"Let me go Roku! Sozin's after my son!"
"I understand, but I can ccomunicate with Aang becouse he is my rencarnation, and Yue can speek to anyone as long as its night, but other than that, a spirit must wait for the Winter Solstice unless they want to forcibly exchange the status of the living and the dead and shatter the deviding line between life and death."
"You think I CARE? SOZIN WANTS TO KILL MY SON!!!!!!!!!!!"
"All we can do is hope Sozin woun't do anything rash."
Minato looked Roku as if he were insane. Sozin not do anything rash?
"Is there a way to fix the damage Sozin's actions are doing?!"
"Naruto HAS to defeat him in some sort of duel."
---------
"YOU!"
Whiskers and Azula turned to see the ghost of the Fire Lord from a hundred years ago
"What the?!?!"
Whiskers turned to Azula, she was just as stunned as he was. Just then, a earthquake shook the ground and the sky turned a bloody crimson and a anonized moan was heard from the very planet itself.
"What's going on?!" Whiskers shouted, the nine-tailed fox was quick to answer, his tone was lacking it's usual blood-lust and malace, all of it replaced by urgency.
"Naruto...you have to stop this spirit! a spirit must wait for the Winter Solstice unless they want to forcibly exchange the status of the living and the dead and shatter the deviding line between life and death. I can use my power to keep you uneffected by the change, but you have to beat him in some sort of duel or everyone living will die, the dead will rise and the imbalance will shatter the fabric of the world!"
"What kind of duel?!"
"ANY KIND!!! JUST SEND HIM BACK TO THE SPIRIT WORLD!!! I CAN'T HELP YOU FIGHT AND KEEP UP YOUR IMMUNITY TO THE IMBALANCE AT THE SAME TIME, YOUR ON YOUR OWN!" the fox roared
"Hey!"
"What?!" Sozin asked, glaring at Naruto with black hate
"How good are you at dragon cards?" Naruto asked, it was the first thing he thought of.
"Good enough to beat you!"
"Well, then let's play a sudden-death round, if I win, you go back to the spirit world."
"Agreed, and if I win, I'll burn your weak soul to ash and clame your body for myself and use it however I see fit!"
"Deal, but its a forfit if you use your powers as a spirit to cheat."
Sozin agreed and so the fate of the world was going to be desided on a card game between one of the living and one of the dead.
