Ty Lee and Naruto set up a campsite and feel asleep, going form the Fire Nation to the Earth Kindome in one day was exausting. Ty Lee's head was buzzing about Naruto, she had to find out more about him. She got up in the middle of the night and looked over at the figure shifting underneath the sheets, blonde hair all that was visible. She tip-toed over to him and pulled the sheet away. The first thing she noticed were the marks on each cheek that greatly resembled whiskers, the ones that inspired Azula to re-name him. Maybe they were some kind of birthmark? She didn’t know, all she did know was she had to touch them. Letting her curiosity get the best of her, she gently pressed her hand against his right cheek and ran her fingers over the grooves of each mark. She found them to actually be very soft and kind of nice to touch. She was taken aback for a moment when the boy in her hand subconsciously nuzzled his cheek against her hand, seeking more comfort from her fingers’ gentle touch. A small smile graced her lips as she resumed gently rubbing his cheek. She then took notice of his somewhat long, shaggy blonde hair. It was pretty matted and messy, she wondered when the last time it had seen a brush was. Slowly running her left hand through it, the texture of his hair was something she had never really felt before. It reminded her of a mixture between hair and fur. It, like everything else about the boy was odd, but not unpleasantly so. Ty Lee couldn’t help but smirk a little bit when she heard the boy started to make a low rumbling noise in his chest that sounded awfully a lot like a purr. A curious idea began to form in her mind that she just had to try out. Stopping her ministrations on his cheek and scalp, she was delighted for some unknown reason when she heard what sounded like a small pitiful whimper from him. Was her touch really having that much of an effect on him? Ty Lee amused herself with him for a few more hours, delighted at having him around. She whent to bed eventualy and when she woke up, Naruto was moaning. Worried, Ty Lee stepped forward and pulled the sheet away. The cloth dropped from nerveless fingers when she saw what was underneath. Naruto’s human ears were gone, and in their place, two large, fuzzy fox ears stuck out from the top of his head. Looking down, Ty Lee saw he had also sprouted a red, furry tail, also fox-like. Ty Lee let out a delighted squeal that was probably heard by half of the Earth Kingdome. He was so CUTE!

"Naruto...is that you?"

The foxboy yipped in answer, Ty Lee stayed with Naruto all day and found out that his intelligence had been reduced to almost the level of an animal’s. Naruto rubbed up aginst Ty Lee's feet, purring happly that she was near by. Ty Lee knew Azula was bound to have her feeling back by now and that she'd do who-knows-what to Naruto if she found him like this.
