You sit on the blubber bed still trying to figure out what exactly does the pearl do. "This thing must be very powerful if even its owner (the Leviathan) is afraid of its potential", you thought.

The pinkish pearl seems to glow enigmatically in the dim bedroom. You tried twisting both ends of the pearl, figuring that it probably need some combination of twists and turns, much like a combination lock. After numerous attempts at guessing the combination, you gave up and placed the pearl back into your pockets. Lie down on the bed, frustrated from the lack of real progress. On one hand, you really wanted to know what exactly can the pearl do, but on the other, you did not know the 'nature' of the pearl and you're taking a serious risk guessing the combination. You think about the potential danger of being killed if you somehow activated the pearl. Right now, it is best to leave the pearl alone and maybe ask Shamu for more details when she gets here.

You remember that you got the pearl at the Nakii Store and....Wait a second! Didn't Nakii told you that the pearl allowed you to change her size at your will? If she didn't know how to use it, how could she know about its size-changing power? In curiosity, you asked Nakii.

"That is the only function of the pearl I managed to discover", said Nakii telepathically, "I could control my size just by thinking; I once made myself as massive as large island. But, the it's true purpose remains a mystery."

"Well, I guess that when the Leviathan entrusted you with this 'powerful thing', he probably didn't expect you to turn against him", you said, "From what I know, it looks like the Leviathan had made a big mistake in assuming that you will remain loyal to him and serve his interests."

"Additionally, I cut off my Oceania-Talk communication with him so he won't be harassing us with his stupid messages and speeches, for now", said Nakii.

Just then, the Whale-Vision on the TV set displayed a ticker: 'Nakii's Friend approaching. ID: Shamu----Orca ETA: 1 min'

Looks like Shamu has finally arrived at the request of Nakii this afternoon. You look at the scene on the Whale-Vision, you see a shape forming near the horizon, gradually getting closer. Moments later, you recognized the distinctive white markings and shimmering black body of an orca. Finally, Shamu came to a stop right in front of the Whale-Vision. Maybe it's just you, but you never notice how beautiful Shamu look right now. From Nakii's point of view, the orca is just about 1/8 of her size.

The television displayed a message "Voice Signal Relay Enabled", then you heard both Nakii and Shamu talking in your head, her voice sounds melodious and soft:

Shamu: Nakii, I came as fast as I could. I encountered a storm which slowed me down a bit.
Nakii: That's alright. How are you doing recently?
Shamu: I'm good but the daily performances at the park is demanding. Has me all exhausted. I think it a good idea for me to get out once in a while.
Nakii: I see... Well, let's get down to the points. Long story short. Today, I got into contact with the Leviathan again. He wanted me to dispose of the human I'm keeping. But I didn't like the idea and got into a heated argument with him. The human accidentally saw my chat window...
Shamu: If that's the case, did the chat revealed anything to the human?
Nakii: He saw my comment, saying that I used to kill humans when I worked for the Leviathan. He got frustrated and depressed. Locked himself in my "Personal Bedroom" until a while ago. I explained to him that I used to be under the Leviathan's spell, doing stuffs completely against my will. I told him that it was he who reinforced my positive feelings toward humans. He accepted an we've reconciled.
Shamu: Good thing that he didn't encounter the Leviathan himself or he wouldn't be living right now.
Nakii: I also showed him the pearl and he has it now.
Shamu: You did?! Did you tell him about the potential danger of that thing?
Nakii: Yes, but even I do not know how to use it.
Shamu: Preferably, we shouldn't even have that pearl....Say, can I talk to the human now?
Nakii: Sure! Go ahead.....

You saw Shamu turn toward the Whale-Vision and began swimming and waving toward Nakii's eyes: "Hi there, human. Remember we talked on the Ocean-Talk and I showed you my performance? I bet you did. I like to meet you now. Can you hear, me?"

You didn't know how to Shamu literally see you because you're within Nakii. You saw a curious-looking Shamu waiting for your reply on the Whale-Vision. When you're pondering how can you respond to her, you spotted what looks like a web-cam on the top of the TV set. The web-cam is round and made from flesh with veins in place of wire and what looks like a dark pupil in place of a camera. You feel around the web cam for the switch and turned it on. When you did so, the screen reads "Nakii-Eyecam enabled".

From the outside, Shamu was surprised to see Nakii's eye suddenly turn into some kind of monitor with an image coming into focus. Since the image was projected on the eye, it has a fish-eye effect to it. Then gradually, Shamu sees a figure in the image before her: a bedroom and there sitting on the bed was the human.

Shamu: Hey, I can perfectly see you from here, human.
You: Huh?
Shamu: I can see you in Nakii's eye. You must have activated the Eyecam.
You: What is that?
Shamu: It's a device that allows humans within a whale to communicate with another whale at close range. The advantage is that it provides a visual medium where we can see each other directly. Think of it as a 2-way camera. Anyway, you look so great, you must have a lot fun with Nakii!
You: Thanks Shamu.
Shamu: I heard from Nakii that you learned of the Leviathan and have possession of that pearl, is it?
You: Yeah.
Shamu: Since you are new to the culture of the sea, let me give you some more information. I'm more knowledgeable about the Leviathan, the ocean, the pearl, and the Princes of Hell. Do you want to hear more?
