The Mandles are at the new Science lab in Chicago, checking out the new reaserch that they are all doing. They eventually lead into a labratory and their scienctist friend George Nakle is there. He greets them and tells them why he invited them there.

"Well, We want to know if any of you want to be part of a new expariment. ITs not dangerous really, we just wanted a regular family."

The Mandles agree, for the summer has just begun, so school won't be a problem for the kids.
