You tried to resist it but in the lair the warmth and the darkness conspire with your fatigue to send you to sleep for hours.
You wake up only when the sun is about to set down again. Another long night awaits you. The boy is already awake but still lies next to you. You can see by the stains in his face he has been crying. Alas, nobody has trained you to be a mom.
Crawling foward you step out of the cave and examine your surroundings. You feel much better now, your senses are still active. Luckily nobody has found you and I say luckily not to merely add an idle word for you can spot the footprints and signs of a large searching party. "Ha," you think "they must be good at murder becuase they know nothing of tracking," or so you hope...
For the first time you feel right; only your stomach groans for the lack of food, but you are a soldier and can handle it. It has to be much worse for the boy. Maybe you should do something about it.
As you ponder it, you hear the prince saying in the royal tone: "Sir, my beloved vassal, what are we going to do?
