You have also asked him to keep your knight's armor for awhile so you won't arouse attention. Now you sit in a local bar, sipping a drink, dressed like a civilian and listening for talk about the attack on the kingdom.
"I heard it was a dragon!"
"Nonsense! All the dragons have been hunted down and slain!"
"I heard it was an assassin!"
"Assassins! One man couldn't-"
"I heard it were revolutionaries trying to start some new world order or something!"
"I heard-"
You quickly tune out the gossip and nonsense, since none of it is giving you anything but something to chortle at. Gregory surprisingly left, without even asking for a few coins. But you had a hunch you hadn't seen the end of him. You stare into your drink and think about what those men might be doing to the prince. He may be a bit spoiled, but he wasn't deserving of death.
You get up and pay for your drink. And head over to the blacksmith's. Once you've gotten your things back and paid the burly man. You go looking for a reliable horse. You find a nice steed in Colter, a large dark brown horse who has yet to be ridden, but is as tame and friendly to you as the steeds back home.
Suddenly you smell smoke, you look into the air and see black clouds billowing from the tavern. You quickly flip the coins into the horsemaster's hands and ride off. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
