"No, your Highness," you reply coldly, "we do not know how close they are."
Ignoring his moans and pleas you lead the march for another two extenuating hours till you finally arrive to the verge of the forest. You take a moment to look out while your companion seizes the oportunity to lie on the ground; surely he would have never imagined of doing that even yesterday.
Outside there is nothing but the almost bare fields of early spring. A mile, maybe two miles away there is a hut; beyond nothing but rolling hills. You realize you have arrived to the Selosbairy plains, the infinite grasslands; a nation of herders and... slave merchants.
