January, the 20th

We have gone a long way fixing our new home. We have two bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room. However, as a matter of fact, we stay all the time at the living room, because of the fireplace, you know. That's where we boil our food, and close to its warmth we sleep on futons, eat, chat, read and draw... and I write this little journal.

We need to be wise, because it is not that easy to find a stove with accepts wood or coal. In the old good times most people prefered electricity.

We have decided we are going to stay here for the winter but we will travel as soon as spring comes. Meanwhile we will explore our surroundings for other survivors and to make sure, that woman-you-know does not find us.

But first we need new supplies, as we are not coming back to my old home.

And one gun. Sorry. I am really scared.
