January the 25th

Eddie cried today by the fireplace. Just out of nothing and then became quiet as I sat by his side. He was sitting on the floor, under a comforter, while I was trying to fold our laundry when I first noticed his tears. We shared the comforter (I mean the bedding kind!) and stayed together for a good while.

Maybe there is nothing so wrong with me. Maybe I'm just digesting trauma. You know being an orphan, world crumbling down, zombie huntress... seems pretty obvious. Sometimes I'm so nervous I bite myself, bad, but I knew I had to stop that, so I started this diary.

So I am going to share this diary with Eddie. He knows everything about me, anyway. I proposed it to him when he recovered, because it had helped me, and he said OK.

Yes, I have should tell you before about biting myself, but I was too ashamed to write it down.

Later in the day we went out for more supplies, but we made a friend.


Hi. I'm Eddie. I am writing in red so you know it's me. Yes, we made a friend. She's a doggie. At first Miguel didn't like her. But she was starving and very weak. We prayed to Jesus cause she recovers


This is Miguel again. She lied in a corner alone and Eddie, who is a saint, begged me to take her home. I was uneasy, but she's sweet. We will give her a name, if she makes it through the night.
