January the 12th

I met him! I met him! I met him! I am not alone! :) He told me not his name, but I saw him and like... I am too excited to write. Hold on a sec, please.

Ok... I know you can't know, but more than one hour have passed since the my first paragraph. Now I will try to remember our dialog.

I was again scouting at midday, because it is the only time in the day when it is not too cold, and then I saw him, on the street. He saw me and then we both stared for a long time, like five minutes or so, or maybe more, honest.

I think we had forgotten how to deal with people.

And then he raised his hand, and then I saw it: he was waiving to me. I can't remember to be any happier in my life. So I said.

"Hi."
"Hi," he answered, and then silence again.
"Hi I am Miguel."
"Hi, good,"he replied.
"Do you want to meet me here tomorrow?"
"Yes," he answered.

And that was it. I supposed we were both too wary, too shocked for anything better. Thank God I did not carry a gun, cause I guess he would have ran away from me like crazy.

He looks a bit younger than me, like ten or so. And he could be afro-american, but not sure because he doesn't look that black to me. Anyway I still don't make too much sense of races like Americans do, and I don't think it matter any longer, does it?

Oh, I took a big kitchen knife with me, but had it at my backpack. Just in case, you know for the dogs. Not sure if it was a good idea.

I hope I will meet him again tomorrow.
