Today I explored with Hop while Eddie remained at home. Which was fortunate because of the discovery we made..
I was walking slowly, keeping my head low and the carbine in my hands, as if I were a soldier, when Hop howled. You know, that kind of howl which makes your heart sob.
Now we need to be catious, because dogs are so aggresive, so I put my "extra angry mad combat face" on and crawled forward. If that's wrong sorry, my military experience = movies + games and my hunting experience is like none.
As I smelt the familiar stench of a corpse I relaxed. Yet I was shocked when, a few steps later, I discovered the body.
It was a dog, half eaten by other dogs. That's OK, hungry dogs see dead dog and they need to eat. What it has really worried me is an injury I could see in the neck... like if another dog had killed it on purpose. Maybe dogs are hunting each other...
Then, as I was coming back home, I saw something. Six dogs chasing and eating a cat... I didn't shoot because that's nature. I could not bear in TV when they showed lions or wolves like killers. We were the same and worse. At least they just kill for food. Besides the Zombie Huntress could have heard the shot... and you bet I don't like that.
This is Eddie. I had a boring day. Just cooking. So I made up a new game. It's like a real time strategy game, only with toy soldiers and stuff. Some soldiers can build stuff like castles, or houses or townhalls or walls. Most fight. And when they fight I throw a coin at them. And if it falls, like it is dead, killed and defeated too; just like in the videogame. I had to play against myself, no AI, you see.
