I'm afraid we scratched the Lexus as I was driving out of the garage. The rest of the travel was uneventful, because I drove very slowly, just 20 mph or so. Only Eddie failed to fasten his safety belt, kids you know. It's amazing how fast the streets are getting worse and worse. Degrading, is that the word? Well, there is a lot of debris, which I expected, but more bumps and cracks than I figured out. Other than, and a few dogs being naughty, barking all the time at Hop, we arrived just fine. Parking was easy, because I just stopped in front of the police complex. You know these days there are a lot of rules you don't need to worry about any longer.
By the way, most dogs are dead by this time. It's sad. Maybe I shouldn't be sad, but I am, so it's Eddie, so it's Hop too. You get used to see corpses all right, but still makes you sad when you stop laughing and doing stuff.
Like I'm happy but I'm not, because there are less trouble with dogs, but you know, I didn't want it this way.
There's still petrol at the Police Headquarters, but much less than I had expected. Just 250 gallons or that says some gauge. That's OK by now, though. But there's still electricity here, so we have put it to good use.
We played 2 hours on a desktop, and it was great fun. I know we shouldn't, because we should have saved the power to fuel the car. That we will do tomorrow. Fortunately there's a wood stove here, so that's what we will be using this night.
We visited the cells just in case we would need to do some funeral service, but there was anybody, just bugs, but you don't hold funeral services for bugs.
Plus we played with police stuff. Tomorrow we will get supplies and, maybe, start our travel. Oh, did you know the cops had beds? And I don't mean in the cells but for the cops, maybe to stay overnight or whatever.
Hop has had a boring day, poor girl. I'm playing with her as soon as I finish this entry... I wonder where's Eddie now... Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
