This choice: An icestorm moves in overnight, changing the city's landscape. | Go Back Chapter 11: Icestorm (ID #482668) an addition by: Past Member 'light' More by this author January 11th,
I don't know what's happened, but it's something bad. Last night I went to sleep beside Ashley, just in case she needed anything. When I woke up, it was freezing cold.
Right now I'm bundled up in all the blankets I could find in the house next door. I wish we had eletrcity, I'm freezing my head off.
When I went outside to get the towles, I found out that the city is competely covered in ice. Trees, grass, leaves, everything! Our irrgation system is now usless since all of the water is frozen.
We tried to get logs for a fire, but all of them are forzen solid. I'm afraid that if we don't find away to get heat soon, we'll die. Ashley right now is bundled up in sixteen blankets, that's right, sixteen. I'm bundled up in fiftheen. I'm surpised I'm even writing this journal. I'm so cold, I can barely move.
The last ice storm lasted about three days. That's too long. It needs to end soon. Ashley has considered moving to Flordia. I found that crazy, but it might be the only chocie. If we do move to Florida it will take a long time. I can't drive and neither can Ashley. We'll have to walk. If we start now, we could get there by the time I'm sixteen and Ashley's seventeen.
I have to go, I think the tempature just dropped. If I don't write in this journal by tomorrow...just pray for me and Ashley. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
