Odd thing happened today. I told Ashley about the horrible truth about that stupid virus. She just nodded and changed the subject. Almost like she didnt care much. Eh, maybe she's just stronger about it than I am. I guess I sound like a coward, dont I? Perhaps she has a point. I need to stop worrying about 'what if' and start doing something about it.

That does it... we're going to look for this cure. I know there's one. I'm the only 'man' here that can do the job!

I'm gonna tell Ashley that we're gonna head out to find this cure. I think there might be a clue in the picture I found in the file cabinet with the Confidential note. A big beautiful white mansion named 'Andrews Villa'. The picture was clipped to a big roadmap with 'Andrews Villa' marked and circled on it. It doesnt look too far from here. But then again, it might take a while to get there since we dont have a car.

Not like I can drive anyway...

Hope's been acting really anxious to be going back outside, too. I cant blame it... I hate spending all this time writing this journal all cramped up in the basement, either! And yet, it doesnt seem to bother Ashley. So does that make me no better than the dog?!

I dont care. We're gonna be leaving. It may be a little cold out, but we cant spend the rest of our lives cramped up in this place. Of course I wouldnt mind being cramped up with Ashley if you know what I mean! ;)
