January 4th
I woke up this morning and could not find Mary anywhere. I grew a little bit concerned that she would run off like that. But, as I opened the door I heard her scurrying around and was very happy to see her jump down the stairs. She ran right past me and then suddenly stopped urging me on. I quickly ran out the door and me and Mary raced down the street.
It took me and Mary about a hour searching up and down the street's until I found a hardware store.
I have really not paid attention to where things like the hardware and sporting goods stores were around in this town. But after looking around I found Phill's Sporting Goods I was going to continue but noticed that the sun had already passed midday.

The front door was broken open and when I walked in I could not help but cover my nose from the stench. There was something behind the counter and I seen a cluster of flies.

Looking away I went to the camping supplies I got a propane stove a small tank for the stove. I also grabbed a box of matches and a backpack to carry it all in. On my way out grabbed some snack cakes, some Jerky and 3 warm pop's.

The sun went down about 3 hours ago. I am using the propane stove as a light. This way I can save the batteries for important things.
I am eating the Jerky now. And watching Mary as she is gnawing on the pellets that I got. Oh yea I got some pellets and birdseed for Mary. She is so happy and excited.

Tomorrow, I will grab some more things from the store.
