"So, uh..." Rika carried on once she found out how to stand up in Sakura's hand, "If you don't mind me asking, how tall would you say you are?" Sakura blushed slightly once Rika had finished her question; she was rather embarrassed by her apparent stature in this land.

"Well," She replied, "When I was last measured it read four-foot-three." Rika now stared up into Sakura's eyes, her surprise completely laid bare.

"But," Rika remarked, "I'm four-foot even." Now Sakura stared at the girl she held in her palm.

"What would you call an inch?" Sakura asked. Rika responded by measuring her thumb with the thumb and forefinger of her free hand and, after cutting the space between them in half, held it up to Sakura.

"I'm not sure if you can see it." She commented.

"I can," Sakura answered, "But only just." Now Sakura held her finger and thumb apart with her free hand and got them as close as she could to an inch and presented the measurement to Rika. "This is the inch I know." Rika looked up at Sakura's giant digits hovering in the air.

"Is that," She asked, "Half the length of your thumb?" Sakura nodded but in a slightly uneasy way, denoting that measurements without proper materials wouldn't be accurate. She watched as Rika stumbled across her hand towards her thumb, clearly wishing to compare her height. "Your thumb is more than twice my height." Rika stated. "So, by your standards, I'm less than one inch tall!" Sakura felt pitiful now, as she empathised Rika's sudden sense of inadequacy.

"But only just." She tried to reassure her. "You must be more than three-quarters of an inch." She gingerly shifted her thumb to more easily compare its length to Rika. "See, the distance to my knuckle from your head is barely more than the thickness of my nail." How does Rika respond?
